Journaling: Superbowl XLI was the perfect match-up for a girl from Northwest Indiana -- Chicago Bears vs. Indianapolis Colts. I was happy either way, but Cassie rooted for the Bears. She settled in front of the game with her homework, wearing the scarf she got for Christmas from Mr. Nuccio. But, the Colts won 29-17.

This was one of my first attempts at spot color in PSE8.

LO done for the February Monthly Sketch Challenge - Week 4. I did the twist to tear paper: besides the torn bits on the notebook paper, I used a Fiskars tearing tool to tear the orange wavy strip to the left of the pics.

Also for the VLB Challenge to use orange on a LO.

I glimmer misted the notebook paper. The arrow was a grungeboard piece that I painted and then stuck the gems on. The brackets were white that I colored with a Marine Stardust pen. The bg is Core'dinations cs -- I scored a border 1/4" around the edge and lightly sanded it to get the frame. I also did some machine stitching on here with orange thread. TFL!
