A second version of the Slice-cut butterfly. I cut 2 (2-inch) butterflies that had the same outside shape from the Basic Shapes 2 card. The bottom layer is solid and the top layer has holes in it. I accidentally cut the top layer from pink paper and was too lazy to recut it, so I just tried embossing it green over the pink. With one layer it came out browny, so I just kept embossing over and over until I had about 5-6 layers of peeled paint distress embossing powder on it. It came out super-cool, almost the consistency of grungeboard, and a nice rich colour. Then I stickled the edges of the top butterfly and painted a thin layer of stickles over the wings. Glue dots between the layers as pop-dots looked weird (too far off the page).
