Stephanie this is just an amazing piece of art! The emotion you allowed onto the paper is fantastic! I just love what you did with the photo and your journaling. Very Very Very Wonderful!
I love love love this! I actually saw it on your blog first but had to come comment. This turned out beautiful, and I love the controlled chaos of everything and the emotions!
This is such a powerful piece of artwork. Love what you did on the photo! Super colors. The flourishes really soften the piece grea touch and great eye!
Wow Stephanie this is fantastic! I think you really expressed what you are about here in so many way and levels! The one over all thing that comes across is your immense depth of creativity. Whenever you doubt it you need to look here! Fantastic job on blending the inks and using the writing as a backdrop! The picture is so eye grabbing and interesting! Real talent here!
This is absolutely amazing! I have done lo's like that, too, where I know the negative emotion is there, but keep things private. You should consider entering it into Celina's Darker Side Challenge, I think it really fits! Here's the link: http://www.scrapbook.com/forums/showtopic.php?tid/1531403/tp/1/

This is so creative! wow! And the fact that you wrote all your emotions out on ur background paper is very neat and very therapeutic. This is awesome! Love all the distressing, all the elements. This is great Stephanie!
Stephanie, this is INCREDIBLE!! I love the journaling, the torn/stitched photo...there is not one thing on here that is not creative and expressive! Really great job...
I really appreciate all the heartache and love you put into this. It shows. I don't have to be able to read the journaling to see how you're feeling. Really fantastic work here and TFS.
This was my scrap therapy project, something new for me. I was dealing with a lot of negative emotions, so I decided to try this.
The bg piece started out white and I journalled all my thoughts and feelings around the page starting on the outside edge and ending in the very middle. Then I inked all over it with distress inks, splattered some black paint behind my title letters, tore the edges and a piece out of the middle, then added the border punched paper behind it. All the edges of the bg paper and the mats on the photo and the strips of PP are distressed. I tore the pic in 3 and hand stitched it back together. I made all the black bling flourishes myself with puffy paint. The hearts, I painted with linen & navy paint, then added some black paint smudges. I cut "pieces of" on my sil, and put on with pop dots. The "me" I painted as I did the hearts, but then sanded them. The point of this was to be able to get all my negative feelings out for the world to "see" but I didn't want people to be able to read them, which is why all the distressing. I love how this turned out...it really portrays how I sometimes feel...with the tearing, some sweet parts like the hearts and flowers, but a little bit of chaos too.
