This is for this weeks SB.com challenge to create a layout about "home". Our house just went under contract this week so it was perfect timing for this challenge.
The bottom is a flip book made out of a 4x6 picture holder.
Journalling:
This was the first home we bought. It was in a place so quiet we could hear the neighbors doing their “extra curricular” activities. It was a perfect starter home and it saw several changes over the 9 ½ years we lived there. The backyard was re-seeded and we planted a beautiful tree in the front yard. Flowers and bushes were added to complete the new look. The inside was another matter all together. The walls were avocado green. The kitchen floor had 30 year old linoleum and between the gross amount of paneling and the psychedelic shag carpet it felt like going back in time whenever you walked through the front door. Needless to say, the walls saw a lot of paint. Over the years, that house held many footsteps from puppies, friends and family. Before long it became more than a house.
It became a home.

Now it’s time to say goodbye to our old
home and hope the new owner will find
the same joy in it that we did.
