I lived in Colorado Springs for 10 years and loved the Garden of the Gods. The your choice of colors and patterns really has the "feel" of GoG. Yet I must tell you, if this layout is you "muddling through", your best work is nothing less than awesome.
You did a lovely Job! Excellent choice and display of pictures. Highlights of the sights are nice yet your page retains a clean crisp look that is not cluttered. ( I always have a hard time narrowing down which photos to use and which to leave off........sometimes I try to use to many and struggle with my pages being cluttered.) Very nicely done indeed.
I’m told that scrapbooking is like riding a bike. Once you get started, you’ll always be able to do it. Well, my recent experience with putting a layout together has been full of bumps, falls and wobbles. It has been, what seems to be, forever since I have put together a two page layout, and I could really feel the unsteadiness as I muddled through the design process.
My recent trip to visit my daughter in Colorado Springs produced tons of images, and while I don’t intend to scrap them all, there are a few that really deserve special treatment along with a bit of story telling. This dual 12 X 12 layout shows a bit of the beauty Tina and I enjoyed while visiting The Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs.
