I made this desk for $18. $10 for the desk top, it's a remnant from Ikea. And 2 table legs from Ikea at $4 each. The bookshelf I just cut down and screwed to the table top. I love my little desk. Not the sexiest in the world, but it's mine and worked hard to build it.
