this is my daughter Alison at graduation June 4 this year. I am so glad I had my camera on ready with the photo on the left....she had just walked across the stage and looked in the stands at us, and threw her arms up in victory!
I did this during the Progressive Challenge today with Megan...it was fun and when it was over I was covered in pop dots, ink and my scrap room looked like a tornado hit it...fun fun fun!
I used TH Peeled Paint distress ink on almost all the papers and even the embellishments. The flowers are my first try at Allison's folded flowers, which I learned to do in her tutorial (http://thislittlescrapper.blogspot.com/2010/04/i-just-wanted-to-share-with-you-new.html)...thanks for sharing it Megan! I LOVE them! The black card at the top of the photo on the right is the card sent out inside her Grad invitations and I cut the marquee at the bottom out of the Program we got at graduation. I love th quote by Louisa May Scott, which reads: "Life is my college. May I graduate well, and with earn some honors".
The papers are from TPC Studio, the School Days Series. thanks for looking!
