When I saw this background in Erica Belton's Inspired By Nature kit, with its roses in the lower left corner, it made me think of this photo I had taken some years ago of Kira and Nicolette among some beautiful vines and flowers because they are almost hiding behind some vines with a similar angle. I decided to actually blend the photo with the background so that it would look rather like a painting. I extracted the corner flowers to place back on top, and used numerous layers with different filters and transparencies to achieve the look I was going for. I gave Kira the little butterfly to look at from Robyn Gough's Beautiful Hope kit and finished off the layout with the beautiful quote from Kim Liddiard's Flowers of Tomorrow kit: "All the flowers of tomorrow are in the seeds of yesterday." All three of these kits may be found in the Scraps of Life: Motivational CD at Digital Scrapbook Place.
