Oh my this is such a sweet and tender page!! I love the way you did the banner and the floral cluster. Such incredibly touching journaling. Thank you for letting us glimpse into your memories. :)
This one is off the charts Penny...so creative and so lovely and so tender...that is the word I want: tender. Sweet sweet photo and journaling and so many fresh ideas: the poles holding up the banner, the braided frame, the wide inked border on the cs, the lovely grouping of flowers and the layered circles.. Totally a fav!
Gosh I' moved to tears! Thanks for sharing your beautiful story. The layout is so sweet and frames your beautiful baby to make her the jewel of your work of art.

Absolutely stunning and so heartfelt. The tiny garland is so cute, and those 'sticks' look amazing - the pink paisley pp is the sweetest addition - fave!
The whole layout feels like a celebration, which I'm sure is how you feel having her home! Love your handmade flowers, and your hidden tag is super special!

This is a page about finally bringing my daughter home from the NICU. The journaling says:
Finally you are home and you are mine. It really feels like you are my baby now. Visiting you in the hospital felt more like I was visiting the hospital's baby. But along with having you home after 5 weeks in the NICU also came the overwhelming worry that I was doing everything wrong! No longer were you hooked to endless monitors to make sure you are breathing and warm. But I got the hang of it right away. It was so nice to see you inside your crib, instead of waiting for you to finally come home. Our car broke down so we had to drive you home in Uncle Boone's giant Suburban. It was so odd to take a tiny baby home in such a giant truck. When we got you home we laid in bed with you and just stared at you sleeping. Finally we felt like a real little family, in our little apartment, all together...the way it should be.
