I've always loved this picture of my mom playing in the snow with her grandkids! My mom and I had a very special tradition...we called eachother every time it snowed! Especially the first snow of the season! She's been gone for five years now and I can't tell you how much I miss those phone calls! I know it sounds silly, but every time it snows, I feel like my mom made it happen...just for me! Journaling reads, "Snowflakes are kisses from Heaven" Let it snow!

The inspiration for this layout came from two very talented women. I just love SandiNL's latest layout "Snow Day". I scraplifted a few ideas from her. Also, I learned how to do the lacing from my friend Cheryl at CMomGo. She has a wonderful blog with a tutorial on how to do the lacing. It's very easy to follow! Thanks, ladies, for your inspiration!
