In honour of the announcement of the engagement between Prince William & Kate Middleton I went through all our London photos.....and I think this one was the most Royal of them all....the Queen's London residence:Buckingham Palace.
I was having bit of a dull day so I had a bit of fun here....I found a mocked up image on the internet of the Queen with her much loved Corgis wearing crowns. I added a bit of stickles to her tiarra and necklace & the crowns to make them sparkle even more. The little scroll thingy they are peeping behind from is from one of those old 'how to scrapbook' books I have had for years. The flag banner I made from some Union Jack ribbon I bought in a little shop in Notting Hill & attached it to some candle wicking. The paper was in a bargain mystery pack I got a few years ago and is actually depicting the Australian flag (we have the same Union Jack on our flag) and I never thought I would ever use it and almost threw it out. Just goes to show...you never know when that oddest or ugliest thing you have been hoarding for years you may actually find a use for one day!! TFL.
