Totally fab! Love this and the story behind it and all your great memorabilia. Imagine seeing a concert today for $15 and 75 cents in tax! I really like all the rough touches like the staples and cardboard and inking and dark colors. Perfect in every way. A fave.
THIS is awesome!!! I love it! The Who rock, when I was in HS, I got really into "classic rock" and they really rock it! Love the ad! This has inspired me!
You don't need to tease us with a "milestone age" Sharon! As long as you're young at heart, you can be a groupie at ANY age! ha ha ha! Very cool lo...this design is awesome! Hope you went to the concert with Big Hair! hee hee!
Wow, Sharon, this has such a rockin' edgy feel. love the title and the way you included your memorbilia. I too remember and still own albums and a turntable - (don't tell anyone - LOL). TFS - brings back great memories.
And did you know the band is again being fronted by a young man from my neck of the woods? JD Fortune lived about 15 mins from my house. Love the elegant eclecticism you have created here!
This week's Scrapping the Music challenge song is "Need You Tonight" by INXS. I was inspired to make a layout about a concert that I attended in the 80's at JFK Stadium in Phila, PA. Hidden journaling reads: I saw the Who at JFK Stadium in 1982 and fell totally in love with Roger Daltrey. Afterward, I saw all of their movies, purchased all of their "albums" (yes, they were albums back then! LOL!) and collected their memorbilia. When we turned a "certain milestone" age, my twin sister got us tickets to see the Who at the Wachovia Center in Phila, PA. I loved watching the "old geezers" (as my husband called them) just as much as I did back in the 80's!
