In the first page of this LO, I wanted to contrast the beauty snow-capped Sierras with the lovely park where we competed in an agility trial. THe top photo is a city-scape of Reno. I printed it twice, cut out the letters for RENO in one copy and attached them with foam tape over the other to give "RENO" some dimension. I used silver ribbon since Nevada is known as the Silver State.

Journaling: The prettiest place we ever trialed was at Hidden Valley Park in Reno, NV. The park was nestled in a valley in the shadow of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, which, even in June, remained snow-capped. THe location did have it's detractions though. The drive on Friday afternoon was a grueling 6 hours in heave traffic and. according to my records, the altitude really kicked my butt.
