Wow!! Well I would like to say - now you have 52 comments!!
This is so original and I love it! Love the way the photos are actually small and all the techniques you have used for each square. You have inspired me!!
I LOVE the small photos and I'm a BIG FAN of 1inch photos! I love that you can capture the full picture without having to crop it!! =D This is a wonderful LO!
what a wonderful concept and execution. Each of your squares is a delight in itself. I love each little detail. Wonderful color scheme and I like your stitching design too. Definite fav.
Laura, this is a stunning layout. I saw it featured and had to comment. It's a beautiful design and I love the papers. Pretty stick pin and flower from your friends. A favourite for me.
This is a brilliant concept, Laura! So glad you got it out of your head and onto a page :) LOVE the idea with the little photos and each letter of the word in the grid design, with all the wonderful embellies in each square. The hand stitches makes a nice border....this is like 9 mini pages in one! a FAVE!!
So many things I love about this one, Laura. One is the neutral background with the stitching that allowed you to get very detailed with the nine smaller squares, each one with a different set of goodies and techniques. How fortuitous that the word "Gratitude" has nine letters in it, too! This is just a feast for the eyes, I can't stop looking at it! It's a fave, I LOVE it!
Creative, imaginative and beautiful - each square representing something that you are grateful for in your life. Very pretty papers, misting and inking. Cute little embells and each square displaying a letter in the title word, "Gratitude" - . FAVES
This is a layout that had been swirling around in my head for about a year. I know that the photos were printed just a little too small, but I created the layout at a friend's place and did not want to reprint them. It is entitled "Gratitude" and represents many of the things and people in my life for which I am grateful. I did simple hand-stitching around the border.
Deb ("Nuggles") made the flowers in the centre left and centre middle positions for me. Thank you, Deb! My mom cut the flat flower in the centre on her Cricut for me, and I used my Cricut for the bird with the love note in the centre of the top row and for the bird house on the left on the bottom row. My mom made the stick pin in the left square of the centre row for me. I also used my mom's Cricut to cut the book in the centre square of the bottom row. I used my MS Loops corner punch on the centre square. And I used a Heidi Swapp mask in the centre square in the bottom row as well.
