This is beautiful. On the lacing that you liked on my "Charmin" layout. The instructions are on a blog I found, my moments of tranquility. You are very talented as the one I found on the blog.
Jennifer, this is STUNNING ! Love the photo of your niece, that coat is sooooo perfect for your design ! Love the color scheme and all the elements you placed here -Granny's lace, ribbons, pearls and the glove ! Fabulous work !
Well you know I love that photo!!! The paper accents that photo perfectly with the color of her hair and fur she's wearing! Your design is absolutely breathtaking! AMAZING WORK! FAVE!
I created this using Dusty Attic scroll, the Swirlydoos Jan 11 kit, gloves purchased in an antique shop for $1.00, a stick pin sent to me by LisaNovo( aka raining) from craftysprinkles etsy shop, and my niece as a pretty model.
I call this Timeless Beauty II because I recently used this same photo for a different scrap page ( double dipping as I call it LOL) and gave it to my niece. I have no imagination for slick names thus it's Timeless Beauty II. And I have no shame, I'll probably end up using it another dozen times before i retire the photo and find a different model. Not to worry, it'll have the same TimeLess series name. :)
A little side note, the coat my niece is wearing is her Great Grandmothers ( which is my Grandma). My Grandma left the coat to me when she died, though my niece does it utter justice. A few days ago, my brother gave me all of my Grandma's old lace, ribbons and trims from her crafting years. She had a substantial stash and I'd even go so far as to say Grandma was a lace hoarder and I know I am as well (way to go Granny!). So along with the coat, I am using Grandma's lace.
As I was working on the LO, I received an incredible package in the mail.....a stick pin from craftysprinkles etsy shop - big big big and super big thanks LisaNovo (raining) . Ohhhhh man - I screamed. It was exactly what I needed to finish this up.
Thanks again Dusty Attic, craftysprinkles, LisaN, Grandma, Swirlydoos and my niece for all cooperating with me.
