SnoCross

Journaling: So it seemed like a good idea at the time, to attend a fun outdoor event, with Michelle and Michael. We were there to support Michelle's cousin, who's son was competing in a snowmobile event, called SnoCross. The first round or two was quite exciting, I had no idea that snowmobiles could do what these athletes were able to make them do, fast turns and jumps. But the cold air made for a less than fun experience. After the first hour I lost feeling in my fingers & toes. After the second, my nose & cheeks were stinging. A little after two hours, when the snow began to fall, I was pretty much ready to be done for the night! It was really disappointing that Joel didn't even get to compete, as he did not qualify for his race. I will admit that I was very happy to get to the car and the heated seats and warm up!
