this is a poem by Hans Olav Mørk called "dare to be"
it goes like this:
dare to be honest, dare to be free
dare to feel what you are feeling, say what you want to say
maybe those who stay silent are more scared than you?
whre there seems to be no way out, someone must open the door.
dare to be vulnerable, no one is made of stone
dare to show where you stand, stand on your own feet
strong is one who looks around and chooses ones own way
maybe those who hurt you are weakest anyway?
dare to be sober, dare to live now
sing if you wish to - cry a little if you need to
time is too short to run away, use it while you can
someone needs everything you are and that you are like that.
