Catch the Wind and SOAR

This is the title page from Flash's book called Come Fly With Me. Since it was only a one page LO, I felt like experimenting...

The blue sky is a piece of silk Dupioni that I had left over from another project. I cut the title from CS on my Circut and then machine stitched through all the letters. It ws very tedious, because I have a small machine and os it was hard to maneuver the 12x12 CS around. I wasn't going to distress this LO at all, but when the CS came out all wrinkled...I went with it!

I printed the photo of Flash on Lutrador, cut it in the shape of a cloud then quilted it onto the page. This is great stuff if you are into mixed media art.
