I started making this lo for week #2 of the sketch challenge, I really liked it before I put the pictures on it, now I'm not loving it as much. I used K&Co papers from four different packs. When I cut the strips out and started to put them horizontally, they reminded me of the colors of the sunset, so instead of having one set of paper strips going vertically, I had two going across and used half a circle for a setting sun. The bottom strip of flowers reminded me of how beautiful my flower beds were that year. The pictures are of my daughter on her 11th birthday 10/25/07. It's hard to plan a party for her since we never know what the weather will be like.. This year the theme was a Hawaiin Luau and we lucked out with beautiful weather.
