Give a Cheer
This is a LO I did for the Angelica's Butterfly Challenge over at Swirlydoos.com using my Swirlydoos monthly kit. I chose a pic of my sister in law, my husband and me at my SIL's outside wedding! I have so few pics of me and my DH together (he hates pics-typical male) and I love this one because he seems relaxed.
*I tried to imitate a rose trellis by hand stitching the trellis pattern and adding those pretty blue roses from the kit and also a wedding arch by using the tuille fabric.
*I scrap lifted the feather tails for the butterflies from Lost Coast Scrapper/ I loved the soft effect it gave her lo and wanted to replicate that here-thanks for your inspiration!
* I used Lisa Gregory's Ruffled Flower tut from Swirlydoos.com, for the big blue flower-Thanks Lisa!
*The journaling on the circle reads "Life is the flower for which love is the honey" hence the title "Love is the Honey".
