I'm sorry that you guys were so cold! I'm sure it was worth it to see Old Faithful erupt. That's so cool! I really like the buffalo diecut. It's the perfect embellishment!
This is a great two page layout!! Love the borders both on page edges and bordering your photos...love that buffalo embellishment and of course, I LOVE your journaling!!
Great sketch! Love the awesome diecut! Now you'll have to return to see the rest! I remember being there in late June and woke up to ice in the water bucket!
Absolutely beautiful. The black really accentuates the gorgeous photos. The title with the buffalo is great. I would have bought it too! It's a fav of mine!
This layout is based on a sketch from the March/April 2011 Creating Keepsakes. I added a border at the top and bottom. The design behind the photos is done with a stencil and ivory acryllic paint. The buffalo/Yellowstone diecut was a souvenir I bought at Jackson Hole, WY for my scrapbook pages.
Journaling: Without a radio or TV at our cabin, we were not aware that overnight we had gone from mild 60s and 70s to almost freezing. Our heavy jackets were still packed as every day before today had warmed quickly to comfortable shirt sleeve weather. The weather and time were our enemies today as we tried to see many of the attractions at Yellowstone. We omitted the ones requiring a long hike and those with rugged terrain. I insisted on going to the Aritist Paint Pots..."It's only 1/3 of a mile." Even though it was level ground, that was the longest 1/3 mile! Old Faithful faithfully erupted on schedule as we shivered in the 40 degree temperatures.
