This is a layout I did for the fabulous Tres, one of my sisters in the Sisters Swap. Her requirement for the page was to scrap a happy time in my life. One of the happiest times in my whole life was when I met my grandbaby Rafe. He's a special needs child and was diagnosed with Schizencephaly when he was two days old. I got on a plane to Germany, where my son and his family lived, and went to see for myself if he and my son were really doing okay. I spent two wonderful weeks getting to know him and about this brain disorder. We travelled aroiund Germany, France and Luxemborg while I was there and it is a time I will cherish forever. In the photo is my sweet grandbaby Rafe, his big brother Gregory, my daughter in law Laura and my son, Will. The smaller photo is the first pic ever taken of me and Rafe. I look jetlagged and worse, but I don't care...I love this photo anyway.
