I wish we could hold on to more of those childhhod feelings! I like the cropped pic here;I agree-there are only certain times that works well-this is definitely one of them!sweet Lo-love the texture1
Oh my word..this is just soooooo pretty!! I am so intimidated by those papers and have not once even made an attempt at using them but you did a wonderful job!! :))
You totally rocked these papers!!!! I never bought them because I had no clue how I'd work with them, but you've inspired me! Love the texture of the ribbon too....
The journaling (“Childhood smiles are the backbone of many a future dream”) on this page is a thought that I've many times over the last few years. It speaks to the fact that oftentimes the things that brought us joy as children help to inspire and shape who, and what, we become as adults. Yet there is also much about childhood that becomes more like a fairytale as we grow up and take on adult roles, and as such, I thought it made sense to pair a photo of little me (I don't think I can be much older than about 2.5 in that shot) with these beautiful, delightfully whimsical papers from Graphic 45's recent line ("Once Upon a Springtime").
Generally speaking, I'm not the biggest fan of cutting images out of photos, but sometimes it can work well and I actually quite like how cropping myself away from the (very distracting - there was a blue swing set and a dark brown fence) background turned out here (plus it was fun to position the photo so that it looks like the fairy on the paper is softly kissing the top of my head).
~ Heartfelt thanks for checking out my page. Any questions about this LO, please don't hesitate to ask. Wishing you a blissfully creative day! ~
