In Honor of my Uncle Greg's birthday today, I wanted to upload this layout I did of him and my youngest sister, photo from February 1993. This will be a rather short description, as I get a little teary-eyed when I talk about him.
I used cream cs for the background and inked around the edges with blue. The photo is 5x7 and matted on green pp. The green border with the flowers was cut from the border of another pp and then I added some dew drop beads to the centers. The blue and green ribbon are from my stash, as well as the white ribbon used for the bow on the hand-stitched flower "stems." I used 2 different flower punches and layered them, the centers are brads from my stash. The journaling was printed from the computer and then cut into strips and inked. The journaling reads:
"This is the last photo of my Uncle Greg, taken with Shelley, just a few days before he passed. He was one of the sweetest men I've ever known. He would have done anything for any of us. He was much loved and dearly missed."
