This layout is for our sketch challenge at our weekend crop over at Pages in Time. Our crop has been a great way to kick off the upcoming National Scrapbooking Day next week. The sketch is by the very talented Becky Newmann. She has designed some really awesome sketches for us to work with.
This layout is of my husband last fall while we were out on a little hike. Fall is such a beautiful time of the year and Fall 2010 was certainly one of the prettiest in our area.
My photos are framed on cardboard for the VLB challenge also.
I did a little bit of everything on this layout: inking, distressing, paper tearing, misting, cardboard, and the leaves and hearts all pop dotted for added demension. I used my Cricut Stretch Your Imagination for the leaves and the Sweethearts and George cartridges for the hearts. I doubled pop dotted the hearts and I really like the look of them irl. The tag was also cut with the Cricut using the Fabulous Finds cartridge. I added some glimmer mist to the cardboard and was pleased with how it ended up with a bit of shimmer.
