My dear daughter did this LO for me for Mother's Day 2011. I had to journal "what being a MOM means". It was a hard assignment to actually put my feelings into words. Here's what I came up with.
Having a legacy...a part of me will live on
remembering how I could make you feel better after getting hurt
remembering the soft cheek of my babies...oh so sweet
having someone to share experiences...trips to Grandma's, camping, shopping, scrapbooking
Having a girl meant having someone who knows me through & through
Having a boy meant having someone to carry on the family name a& who is actually more like me than my daughter
praying for your children's making many breakfasts, lunches and dinners
getting up in the night with babies
