1-This furry little arm belongs to Sam, the birthday boy, who turned 6 today.
2- Love the delicate texture of the roses in the front yard
3-The new recipe of the week was a winner: Key Lime Pound Cake. Pound cake is one of my all-time favorite desserts, and what could be better than lime? Our key limes were played out, so I just used regular limes, and it was SO yummy.
4-I bought these purple tulips at Target -- up close they look like satin.
5-We have a volunteer sunflower coming up among the tomatoes. Don says once the squirrels get wind of it, it’s toast.
6-My usual breakfast: Special K with Red Berries. It does make me a bit suspicious that they call the dried strawberries red berries -- what else is in them?
