Give a Cheer
For the June Darker side challenge-the theme was Wedding Day Blues, I decided to go with the 'worst' part of my wedding day-and even that wasn't that bad!
It was right before we were set to walk down the aisle, my DH was going outside so they had me hiding in the kitchen so we couldn't see each other. I was so nervous I was just shaking. In an effort to calm my nerves my photographer gave me a glass of water to hold, he told me to concentrate on the coolness of the water in the glass. But with all the shaking I was doing even the water started to tremor. And as I watched that water moving all I could think of was the scene in Jurassic Park where they are stuck in the SUV and they showed the water in the glasses shaking from the footsteps of the t-rex. It didn't help the nerves much, but it certainly made me smile!
I used homemade playdough to make the little dirt pile and a toy t-rex to make the footprints.
