I judge show jumping, but that's a lot easier than judging hunters. With show jumping, it's the cleanest round in the fastest time wins. With hunters, it's more "how pretty did it look." LOTS harder!
This is fantastic Pat..I didn't know you were a judge too...do you ever judge showjumping?? Yes, you are sooo right , you were the first one to explain to me how the round robin challenge worked and boy you teach and explain so well!!! Bless you :)
This is so beautiful, I just love the photo it is you all bundled up into one photo, horse breeder/lover and teacher all roled into one place-and those pps are just great!
I love that bg paper! This was my fav sketch of this batch!! And I never get tired of seeing it made up with so many different papers and photos! Love it!
This photo was taken last April at a horse show where I was the judge. It was a schooling show, which means that the judge is permitted to discuss placings with the participants, and that's what I'm doing here. I love teaching - it's the fiber of my character. In any situation, I'm going to be the one explaining to someone else how to do something. The mare on the left used to belong to me, but she did not place first in this class. The horse second from the right was the class winner. My mare was third, best as I recall.
This will be a July teaching project as well as my PageMaps Week 4 entry.
