This layout captures my very first flight with my hubby as a pilot. He started his training years ago as a teenager and it was always a childhood dream to finish up his private pilot’s license. I am so proud of him! The diecut title came from the Quick Quotes July Monthly Kit Club. I couldn't have asked for a better sentiment for this occasion, ‘Come Fly With Me’. I created two pockets for interactive tags to slide in and out to hold my journaling, including details about the flight and the date. To give the background squares a little extra dimension I sewed a brown border around the edges.
