I made this layout for PIT's interactive blog hop using a Pagemaps sketch.

Also for Pat's ABC challenge Round 4 (JKL)
J = Jute
Jute is like a rope thread, khaki in color, and heavy in the needle. It will be very fun to play with this month, considering the dicotomy of the L portion of this round! I'd like to see at least three feet of this heavy, masculine thread on your layout!

K = Kiwi
You must include this color somewhere on your project - it must be obvious and easily visible.

L = Lace
Let's say at least a foot of the stuff.

The pictures were taken at the local park with my cellphone. I made the shaped tags for the title and journaling and hand stitched around the edges. I machine stitched all the layers of papers together. I used the jute and hop glue gun to make the flowers. I layered them on top of some plain colored store bought flowers and finished them off with a circle of jute. They look outdoorsy to me so this is why I chose include them in this layout. I also made the butterflies' bodies with the jute. I thought they looked different, in a good way! :)
The lace part, I used my friend's Rebecca's tutorial and made my own bloomers using lace. I know that I have way more than a foot of this stuff here! LOL

TFL!
