Here's my June page for Project 2011. The design is based on a July PageMaps sketch. I used papers from K&Co.'s "Daydreams" line. The scallop border and ABC border are also by K&Co. I cut out the umbrellas, guitar, and circles from some of the different papers. Journaling reads:

"june 1- started my summer class (American Lit.). after having 3 weeks off I wasn't really looking forward to going back, but I actually really enjoyed the class. plus it was really nice to be able to finish a class in 1 month.
june 1- painted a bookshelf for my room which turned out super cute (in my opinion)
june 3- went to a crop. it's always nice to spend time with people who understand/share your freaky obsession with paper.
june 11- Mama & I watched chick flicks all day (come september, alex & emma, & pillow talk). we used to do this all the time when I was younger. friday night was our night to stay up ‘til 3 am, just me & her, eating junk & watching our favorite movies. it felt like old times.
-got a new (sort of) laptop. benjamin gave me his less-than-a-year-old one. this definitely makes up for him not getting me a b-day present!
june 14- owl city concert @ the tabernacle! there were also 2 other awesome groups there- unwed sailor & mat Kearney. so much fun! it was a great night & andrea only got us lost 2 times!
june 16- got an email from school telling me I received a $5,862.00 refund. guess this means I got the hope. God is good!
-finally! it rained! thank goodness, our garden/yard desperately needed it.
june 27- last day of class & I made an A- yay!
june mostly consisted of reading weird literature & studying for tests. now it's time to sit back, relax, & enjoy the rest of my summer..."

I also did little captions on my photos. Top row is: "waiting in line for owl city!!" & "painting my shelf"
Bottom row is: "our chick flicks", "mowing” by robert frost", & "my “new” laptop"

(Okay, I don't normally find it necessary to journal about the weather buut...I really wanted to use those umbrellas and the rain cloud paper. Yes, I'm a dork like that.)

Thanks so much for looking!!
