this is great! haha-my grandmother`s recipes were like that too-a little of this a pinch of that...I`ve been planning to scrap my recipes, but haven`t gotten to it yet-thanks for the inspiration!
What a treasure to find - love the old card - the pps are perfect with it - such a cute page - I've been working on books for my kids, with my recipes, but I haven't posted any of them yet - maybe I will sometime. Have fun with the book, Ann, and with all the great recipes!
I LOVE your journaling because it brings me back! This is how my mom taught me to cook...a little of this and a little of that!!! I LOVE that you're scrapping these!
Oh Ann! What a treasure this will be!! I love that you're making this. I made a handwritten cookbook for each of my children when they left home with recipes that I've cooked for them over the years. What a fabulous idea!!!
A few weeks ago while trying to find a particular recipe that my mother used, I found a wooden card file box with many 3x5 recipe cards written in her handwriting. My dd suggested I make a scrapbook using these cards. This is one of the pages I have done so far. Since there are more than a hundred cards, I will not post all the pages but will add a few over the course of this project. As you can tell, some don't have complete instructions. She knew what they were and we will have to guess! LOL The banner pennants and butterflies were made with a Silhouette and the papers are mostly scraps from other layouts. I am doing these in an 8x8 format.
