I have been admiring a lot of layouts with herringbone stitching on them but was recently inspired by SandiNL who often uses stitching on her work, which is just gorgeous. My machine sits idle these days so I decided to do some stitching to keep it running smoothly. Not that I think paper would be doing my machine much good, but thats beside the point. It is certainly quicker than doing it by hand :)
This is a candid photo of my Great Grandfather escorting his 2nd eldest daugher Peggy into the church on her Wedding Day in 1921. She has her head down as if in deep thought. What I love most about this photo is the boy sitting on wall behind them. I imagine he is just an onlooker as the guests would already be in the church and seated at this point in time, I would think!
Every layout I have been doing lately has had something from my old stash. Here I have used up some Prima flowers and the bg paper and punched border and circle is a very old Kaiser paper. The fence is DA and works well with the picket fence in the photo. Also used Kaiser pearls and Green Tara small flowers.
Thanks so much for looking :)
