I am redoing my home office/craft room and just love your colors. Where did you find the material for the curtains? The chandeliers on it are perfect with your chandelier! I am trying to find that material. Please help!
OMG! The only thing I would have to add is my bed and a fridge! This is beautiful! Congrats to you for getting this done and for having the space to do it!
I can't believe this room. I have been designing one with almost the exact same theme. I want to use a robin's egg blue for the walls with all white furnishings and black and white decor. This will help get mine together even more!
I love your room--it must have been on Pinterest, it gave me the inspiration to have my hubby build a worktable similar to yours out of MDF. I loved the idea of the table coming out from the wall in the center of the room to create a double sided work station. I also love the end storage shelves. Of course, your room is decorated beautifully, mine is just kind of plain. Still a work in progress, I guess.
Thanks guys! The chandelier is from home depot. It was $99. The cheapest I could find a larger one and also it puts of GREAT light! My DH and I had a discussion about the lighting and I won..great light! I have taken a few things out of the room and and updated a little. I was feeling cramped and I prefer less of things..so I have had to learn NOT to purchase everything I see and get ONLY what I really covet. I have changed the rug under the chair to a soft white fluffy one as well as removed the demask hat boxes/lamp and pig. I need more visual space and less clutter. The hat boxes have moved into my closet, the lamp is going to be a return and the pig has found a new space across the room.
Thanks~ Yes I do :). My son does his home work in here every night and I go in here to work on different projects etc... I am planning on scrapping next week end...it is a date and I will take some pics LOL~ :)
Hi thanks for sharing my room with me :)~ The color is more of a robins' egg blue versus a blue gray. It is Martha Stewart Vintage Map from Home Depot. I love everything mint green or robins egg blue. I am infatuated with it really. The clear plastic storage containers are from Jo-Ann in the jewelry section. I use the larger size for buttons/embellishments. This allows for travel. The 2 cubes at the end of the table were from the clearance section at Hobby Lobby. They originally had a spool rod through them and were black. I painted them white and removed the spool rod.
and can I ask where you got those clear storage things, in the cube below your teacups? I have some similar I got at the dollar tree but they are not clear like those are...
omgosh this is the most gorgeous scraproom I have ever seen! And I have seen a lot of them. I love looking at rooms to get ideas. This is exactly what I had in mind and have several of the damask things already but that paint color is awesome! Would you say its more of a robin's egg blue or a blue gray or blue green? lol
I have a similar color in my bathroom but its more on the seafoam green side and I want to go more blue-ish. I saw this on pinterest and had to comment,. I haven't logged into this site in over 2 years! lol!
WOW, I AM IN LOVE WITH YOUR SCRAPBOOK ROOM. It is so peaceful and calm looking. And the colors are beautiful and how perfect does your Cricut go with your color scheme.
Hi~ The chair was a fabulous find at TJMAX. I covered an older chair that I found previously with fabric and then one day scoped out TJ's and wal la! I had to have it! Keep your eyes peeled at Home Goods/TJ's and Marshalls! I swear by them~ And if you see it...GET IT! It will be gone by the time you decide to go back and get it.
I am so glad you have all stopped by to see my room. I love it dearly and find myself going in at times just to sit and get away from the little boys when I need it. I just purchased 2 more cubes for my paper pad obsession. So, a little more organizing was in order. It takes forever! But...I secretly love it. :)
This is the most beautiful scraproom I have seen on here. I love the colors. Actually I love everything about it. My wall color is similar, but that's about it.
Awww thanks gals. I appreciate the sentiments. I recently had a small plasma flat screen TV put in with the dish ran to it! I am so excited for that as I can watch my shows and scrap at the same time~ Woot woot! The jars are vintage mason Blue Ball jars in their original color. I thought they would fit wonderfully, so I purchased a bunch :) Gosh...I would love to live in Tiffanys! LOL~ That was and is part of my inspiration...that blue box!
Your room is put together so well. I think it is definitely the most coordinated room I have ever seen. I love the simple color palette and the repeated damask pattern. Sooooo pretty! Cheers, Amber
Just little updates a new white shag rug from Target, a middle focal point with robin's eggs, a yard sale find silver candy double deck serving platter (on bottom shelf).
