I have redone the paper on the paper holders for my 12x12 paper pads. I found some great Duct tape that has a wee less pattern. So, I spent some time re-doing those recently. I also removed the plates as I felt it took away from my inspiration board. I am really thinking of removing this chandelier as it may be a bit of over kill. What do you think? I will try to post updated pics soon.
Lol I should have taken a pic a wee bit ago as I worked in the room. It looked crazy! I just adore paper and am a huge sucker for it. I just bought 2 more cubes for paper and moved the drawer cubes under my table. So I now have 8 full cubes with paper....oh my! Keep me posted as you do your room. I can't wait to see it and congrats on your new cabinets! That is fabulous!
I just love your room, mine is still under construction - it is in the cabinet phase - I bought some "gently used" cabinets on craigslist and they're too heavy for me to do anything to them, so since it is hunting season at our house everything has been put on hold - but I have a paper pad obsession also - it's crazy, every time I go to Michaels or Joanns I come home with more paper even after I tell myself that I am not going to buy any - somehow I get sucked in!!! I want you to post a picture of what your rooms looks like when you've been scrapbooking or after your done before you clean up - because then we will all know that it doesn't always look this perfect!!
beautiful paper arrangement - love the storage, but love the decor as well ... the birdcage ... wall board ... bookends, and wallplates - a decorators' dream!
No problem Wilbur~ Glad to help. Cookie thank you for the kind compliments on my room. It took me a year to "figure" out what I really wanted. I bought and returned so many items..DH thought I was and am NuTs!!
I am totally in love with this room. I can't stop looking at it! I'm serious! I am getting ready to convert my garage into an office/scrap room. I want my room to look JUST like this. It is gorgeous. I am making a note of the paint color. THANKS!!
Cookie
Ha! My TV was not working because DH would not hook up the splitter from the other side of the wall. We had to drill a hole into the hard wood floors to do it. I think he would have rather of not..but seeing as though he has his own man cave and has had for 7 years..It was MY turn :). The paint color is Martha Stewart Vintage Map from Home Depot. They do not have samples but you can have a sample can whipped up from the computer data base. I covered the cropper hopper paper holders using the ATG gun. It is the only way to get the paper to stay. The ATG glue is so strong it even held up ribbon as a border on my wall :) The black chandelier is from Hobby Lobby. Thank you all for the kind words on my space xoxo~
very nice! Did you cover your paper holders (black&white) or did they come that way? If you covered them, what glue did you use? .... just love your room. thanks for sharing with us.
