SHCG - Another excellent page w/ a cool action shot! The watery pp is perfect & I LOVE all the vibrant red throughout the page, alone w/ the title font - they really convey a fun time here. I agree w/ Chris' comment, would be nice to have the place & date somewhere since the journaling is hidden. Looks like a great day!
SHCG: Great page. LUV the blues & red. I can make out the title but it is a little hard to read. The large use of this background paper is a little busy but I always do the same thing myself. When using busy pattern papers sometimes less is better. (But like I said I am the first to overuse busy background papers because I can bear to cut them up.)
shcg - i love the photos and that you got them! you are always SOO expressive in them! I like the blue and red color scheme, but I wonder if you were to add some white or other color around your title letters for them to stand out some more - right now they look like negative space cutouts from the red strips, sort of, and I think the border would give some more definition. the villain's placement draws me right to it versus the photos. I do wish that some of your hidden journaling was in plain view -- maybe just the place & date.
SHCG: Cool shot of the ride and awesome shot of the drop. I love the look on your face, and shirtless dude in front rocks! I see you used hidden journaling, but I was thinking your description would look really cool in one giant teardrop shape, white or light blue. I could see it one the left side of the ranger, and him moved over a bit to the right. I love that the characters are looking up at the title. I'm still curious what the villain would look like if he was in the bottom left looking up at the pic of the drop. Good idea to use complementary colors in this lo, it seems to add to the wackiness of it all.
This was a ride that we had to convince Sean, my god son, to go on. On the way up to it, we saw a huge walk-in blow dryer for people to use to dry off. We laughed and wondered why someone would need that....we found out! While we were waiting to get on the ride we were getting dripped on and we kept moving out of the way. By the time we got off the ride, drenched and laughing, we didn't dodge the droplets and we understood the huge blow dryer...we just were not willing to spend $5 to use it.
