Madeira Excursion - Europe 2010, Left Side

'Leaving Spain was bittersweet, but we had a fine celebration on th ship with a Paella party. Then, on to Madeira.
Funchal is the capital of Madeira, a region of Portugal. It is one of Europe's prettiest ports as there are flowers everywhere!
We arrived on Tuesday, 1026 and began the first part of our excursion. First, we travelled up to the picturesque Pico do Arieiro, and from there we went to the village of Santo da Serra. There we stopped at the beautiful Serra Golf Restaurant & Tea House and had an exquisite slice of lemon pound cake with our coffee.' Tfl.
