What a beautiful girl your grandmother was. Such a wonderful photograph to have too. Your page just brings it to life. It's just gorgeous and perfect!!
Awesome LO!!! What a gorgeous lady your GM was. Love the subdued colors and your look of symmetry and asymmetry.....all at the same time....WOW! BIG HUGS to YOU!
What a wonderful photo for you to have, and you did an outstanding job scrapping it! Such beautiful, soft feminine elements and the colors are so WOW! Perfect use for the cameo!
Oooh! So cool the way the pleated flower reminded you of the hat in the photo. I love the colors and the way you shifted from blue to yellow/gold. Wonderful work.
Stunning page, Jeannie! You definitely have the expertise for these heritage pages!! (note that I didn't refer to YOUR "yesterday" lo as heritage or vintage..hee hee!) Love all the embellies, and especially love how you describe your elements (ie. "thingy" and "stuff") You ROCK!!!
Nicely done heritage page. Do love that hat. Great colors and design-what a keepsake for the future generations. Gorgeous awesome inspiring LO- a favorite
This is my mom's mother when she was probably 20 or so...probably around 1918-1920. The original photo is small and a bit fuzzy..this is the best copy I could make. I used stuff from my Swirlydoos kit along with stuff from my stash. The pleated flower is by Pink Paislee, Vintage Vogue..it reminded me of her hat decoration. The lace butterfly under the metal one is by MS and I colored it with chalk and stickled its body. There is a little bow shaped bejeweled metal thingy at the bottom of the flowers from Ms. I did this for the butterfly challenge at Swirlydoos and the No Challenge Challenge here.
