This is Mom. My kids call her "Grandma Marcy". Her friends just call her "Marcy". At work they call her "boss". The fur babies call her "Meow".
Yes, I call her Mom. But you see, Mom didn't raise me. She spent very little of my childhood with me. Demands of work and geographic location kept us from a Mother/Daughter relationsihp.
But as the years have passed and Mom and I have grown, as an adult I can say that I'm proud to call her my friend.
