This looks like it may go with another one of your pages titled "ABC's, I think. It's beautiful! Your choice of colors is wonderful! Oh, & I didn't know Chipboard Queen is your sis...I see great talent runs in the family!! *Fave*
This is perfect!!! So did you grow up in Morton? or did you live in the town that got flooded? or is now under water? I don't know all the stories...I was born and raised in Oklahoma as my dad transplanted here after marrying my mom, but absolutely soak up all information about my dad's hometown that I can. It freaks him out when i tell him that I have met people who knew the family through my scrapbooking. LOL. Also, I didn't know that Chipboard Queen was your sister. Such a small world!! TFS!~
This lo is sooooooooo cute. I love the vintage look, and the sweet story behind the photo. How sweet that the little boy kept the Valentine all these year's. I think it goes perfectly with the lo. Great Job!!
so great that you were able to reconnect with grade schoool friends! The valentine is a great addition because of its meaning! such a cool page and great story!
I LOVE it!! LOVE the vintage school days papers. And how special for you and your friends to reconnect. The flower is SO pretty!! I know what you mean though... I always feel the same way... maybe in the morning it will look better to me... we're never satisfied, are we?
I think these pps and embellies are PERFECT for you and your school chums, reminiscing about days gone by :) Love that little valentine too...I believe I have that one in my old scrapbook from elementary school ! Wonderful lo!
The 3 of us met in First Grade and were together through the 8th Grade, when we all had to move due to a dam they put in. We reconnected about 4 years ago. The little boy on the Valentine's Day card doesn't really fit but I gave this to a boy in 3rd Grade and he had saved it! He sent me a picture of it to prove to me he still had it! Since the colors worked thought I might as well add it. LO is was inspired by one my Sister did, Chipboard Queen, although in the end, looks nothing like hers. Sorry for the angle on the picture, was trying to get the light to hit it. The flower I made. Hopefully, I'll like it better tomorrow! TFL
