For this tag (or bookmark), I squished the Tim Holtz Vintage Photo & Victorian Velvet distress inks onto my craft matt (next to each other - NOT touching so as to ruin my ink pads), misted the inks w/water until they puddled, then squished cream cardstock into the inks, moving it around and repeating the process until I had the look I wanted. I then used a lot of Tim Holtz stamps, my cross punch, flourish stamps, tiny brown pearl jewels (for tips of flourishes), and a Mother Teresa quote stamp I got from the Michaels dollar bin, which reads "God doesn't look at how much we do, but with how much love we do it". For the butterfly, I used the M.Stewart butterfly punch, punched it twice, adhered one flat onto the tag, then pop dotted the second one, then used diamond stickles on the top layer. I also glued down brown fuzzy yarn for the butterfly's middle, which really added a fun texture (zoom in to see). I punched the brown flowers from some dark brown embossed paper I had, then adhered them with bronze brads for their centers. I stamped the T.Holtz "stamp" stamp in Victorian Velvet, cut it out, pop dotted it, then added it by the T.Holtz clock stamp (by the way, that T.Holtz stamp set is my all-time fave!!!). Of course, everything is inked on all edges because I have an inking addiction. I then added various ribbons and toole. I made this for my daughter's school office manager because no matter how swamped and busy she is, she always treats everyone with so much love and kindness.
