i've been dying to try the chevron tutorial that marcy penner posted earlier this fall - and i finally got a chance!! i wanted my chevron to have a mix of textures and colors - i mixes neutral pp, misted pp, bright pp and some of the new studio calico scraps. i kept the rest of the page fairly simple but added some of the studio calico veneer houses (as arrows) and asteriks to bring in even more texture. i am absolutely loving the neutrals in the classic calico line - it's so easy to bring in colors from other lines and make it whatever you want it to be! i also mixed in some of the sc exclusive paper & some buttons from the current studio calico kit, handmade.
