You are so blessed to have these vintage photos of your family!!! I have none from my mother's side. LOVE how you made the title!!! You are an artist!!!
WOW! I can see the family ressemblance! What cool old photos. Those tags are so incredible! I also love how they are strung together. You did amazing stuff back when there was limited supplies, and your works is amazing now. This has such a timeless charm to it! Love it!
Hello my friends! Well, I found that there are many pages to my Heritage album that I didn't upload here at SB.com. So here are a bunch. :) This LO is of my grandmother's family (my dad's mom). She is the little girl in the upper left with her arm around her daddy and in the bottom picture, she is on the right in the back row. I did these LOs back in early 2000 and 2001 so the techniques are very basic. I especially liked the title of this LO. I used garage sale tags, color penciled each letter from a stencil, hand painted the flowers on each letter, and then used a brown chalk to give the aged appearance. The tags turned out better than I had hoped. I hand wrote the journaling in pencil, so it is a bit difficult to read. It simply states where the family lived, when the three children were born. I believe I used the same brown chalk around the edges of the pictures. Thanks for looking!
