Almost a year in the making... here it is! My completed scraproom table! Well, it's almost completed, anyway.
My inspiration for this table came from ScrappySusan. Her wonderful table can be seen here: http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/156181/view/1947873/5/1.html. For mine, I used two cabinets from Home Depot as the base and a 30"x80" door as the top. The cabinets are finished on all sides so that I can put it in the center of my room if I choose.

Awesome table - love the inspirational colors. I, too, used cabinets from home depot for my table. If you are patient, you can find slightly damaged ones for 50% off and finish however you like. They also have pre-assembled countertops (formica) that work great for the work surface - I am tough on my surfaces so that was a good choice for me.
