I didn't have my blinds for a long time also, definitely creepy at night without them, and being on the ground floor sometimes during the day too!

We went without blinds for so long in my scraproom that when we finally got them I could never keep them closed. At least you feel more secure now.

YEA!!! I finally have a blind in here!! It was kinda creepy working at night in here without one. I plan on making a valance out of the insperation material to go over it, and my scrapbook supply sign will go back over it.
