"Never dance in a puddle with a hole in your shoe." - John D. Rhodes. How true - as Sarah found out the day we made these photos! We have been waiting for a good rain (been really dry here) in order to get some pics of her in her cute rain boots. So, we're out back of the house, and she's dancing around in the puddle and suddenly looks and me and says: "You're not gonna believe this - my $60 boots are LEAKING!" Apparently one of them has a small leak if your standing in 2" of water! LOL! Oh well, it made for a cute photo shot and layout!
Boots, umbrellas, clouds, and blue drops are all hand cut from pps. I added black doodles to the raindrops and umbrellas. The "grass" pp is some from my scrap box, cut with deco scissors. The small drops of rain are stamped. The quote is all stamped, using second generation stamping to achieve the paler colors, then I added a few outlines in black to bring out the letters, then handcut each section of the quote. "Puddle" is pop dotted for dimension. Thanks so much for looking!
