A set of cards made for the March swap.
Four of the cards were created with the idea of using birds and insects to welcome spring. The other is with a tulip, also to welcome spring!!
The "Beginnings" and the cards on the bottom started out by embossing all the birds, insects, and flowers. Then the ones that were just outlines were colored in, then everything was fussy cut. The large hummingbird was stamped with purple StazOn then colored in with Copiic markers.
Each card was inked, then stamped, free hand drawn, or embossed. Different embellishments were used: ribbon, punched flowers, buttons, tissue tape, and stickles.
The two hummingbird cards are layered ontop of each other. The butterflies and dragonflies are popped up with dimensional pop dots.
The "Beginnings" card had the tulip popped up.
I am not sure how I feel about the outcome of these cards, but it was fun to work on them.
