I'm sort of behind posting this, I finished it a few weeks ago. There's a story behind it:
Last January, six of us were on a mission: to visit all of the craft stores in KathyC's area while keeping on budget. (Not easy, let me tell you.) Anyway, as we were wandering around Hobby Lobby, Kathi and I spotted Jenabler wandering around with a fist full of feathers. She pointed us to the floral section and I'm afraid that we er, forgot about said budget. I had reached the "no, really, that's IT" stage when I spotted stems of gorgeous flowers with even more gorgeous leaves. The flowers were a bit to ginormous for even the fattest scrapper, but I told myself that I could always pull the flower apart. I HAD to have those leaves. Fortunately, I did not pull the flower apart; along with a doily, it's all I need to embellish this project.
Many thanks to Kathy for hosting us, to Meg for driving her and me all the way to Ohio, to Maggi for allowing me to sneak a lot of peeks & to learn along the way, to Kathi for enabling me and for Jenabler for showing the way.
Made with the February project kit from Swirlydoos; if you thinks this is good, wait until you see what Krissy sent us for March!!!!
