So GORGEOUS, Vija! I love the background and how you "decorated" it! Looks amazing. If this is rushing, I want to see when you take your time! Because this is absolutely beautiful in every single way!!!!!
So beautiful and elegant...your design embodies the architecture of the building in the photo. Lovely work altering the lamp post...stunning page, Vija!
Oh my goodness Vija, this is a stunner!!! You do such beautiful work, can't imagine this was a 'rush.' I love the way the lamps mimic the photo of your son's and that building is just magnificent in its architecture. As far as titles go, they look like such "Gentlemen" standing on that beautiful balcony. Then of course in honor of the event, this would be "The Waiting Hour." Not very creative, but I know how tough it is to come up with great titles!
Wow. I am so glad you're scrapping again. I have so missed your beautiful, elegant lo's. This is beautiful, what a great idea to use the textured wedding invitation paper, it is perfect. Love the lamp post embellie and the punching on the inside of the circle. LOVE. Titles, I always struggle with my own, but what about "Treasured Moment", given that it's outside the Treasur-y Building!!
Wow, for being in a hurry, this is so fabulous! LOVE the layering around the circle and the misting and masking! I agree, I think something related to 'moments in time' or along that lines would work. Gorgeous page - adding to my faves!
What a fantastic layout. Very elegant with the lace and classic with the street lamps. I was going to suggest "A Moment in Time" but then I looked at the rest of your comments and saw that someone near and dear to me suggested similiar.
Well, its beautiful and doesn't look at all rushed!! I am no good with titles and always struggle with my own but I am sure someone clever will come up with one...."Time is money??"....lol!!
oh my Vija- this is stunning!! I've misseed seeing you wonderfully creativ layouts!! You amaze me- this layout is sooo classy & full of just the right details, I wish mine looked half as good in a hurry-lol!! I've alway been awful w/title layouts, that's probably why I make cards-lol. My first thought was "moment in time". Back to the details....love the embossedd background paper, soo cool & elegant!! The stenciling is such an awesome touch. The street lamp is soooo perfect w/your great pic of your boys!!!!!
Absolutely gorgeous!!!! Love the design and you must be joking on the rushed part!
What comes to mind for titles are "Tick Tock" "Waiting" and "On Time"
Wow love it,love it, The colours are fantastic and the pps divine. "Worth a Mint"well the photo is anyway it's beautiful,The globes are great as is the masking.
Wow! I can't think this was rushed at all. So handsome! Love those dark, rich colors and how on earth did you do that punched work around the circle? Love the stenciling and lamppost. Fabulous lo!!
How about something like time flies... I look at your sons and think that you must be thinking how grown up they look and how quickly they've grown up. This layout is beautiful and so elegant Vija. How I've missed your intricately designed masterpieces!
wow, girl! This is so striking! I love the stenciling and the way you did the punchwork around the inside of the circle! hmm..."you light up my life", "you shine"
I would definitely call it "MY TREASURES"...after all they ARE in a Treasury building!!! !! Gorgeous lo!!! For a rushed lo...this is FABULOUS!!! STUNNING!!! ~FAVE~ xox
What a fabulous photo Vija!!!! The lamp post in the photo looks almost exactly like the chippie & that pretty embossed bg pp looks like an extention of the photo too!!!! The masking looks awesome!!!! LOVE it all!
so masculine and wonderful! love the contrast of the black altered cs with the feminine creamy pp. I am the worst for titles-----i mean seriously awful at them, but... here goes: "Men in black" or Melbourne Handsome" or Melbourne Memories.
This does not look like a rushed lo at all - it's very STUNNING and STYLISH, befitting those two handsome young men. Your masking and punchwork are wonderful and the embossed pps left over from the wedding invitations are GORGEOUS. I am sure your DS appreciated this lovely labor of love. I was trying to come up with a "cutesie" title since this was good practice for your DS and his upcoming wedding, but I think that would conflict with this BEAUTIFUL and Stylish setting - so I think Mrs. Bean has hit on something with "my treasures".
Whilst waiting for the wedding photos I am just posting a few of the layouts I made in the weeks before the wedding as part of the album I had made for my son. I had to really rush through these to get them finished on time, and subsequently a few of them I had not been able to come up with a title for....so any suggestions would be appreciated. This is my two sons outside the Treasury Building in Melbourne where my nieces wedding was held a couple of years ago. The chipboard pieces have been inked in various colours and I used some glass finish for the globes. The pattern papers are actually the two A4 papers I used to make my son and his fiancee's wedding invitaions. Some punchwork and stencilling in the corner and that's it.....told you I had rushed this album! Thanks for looking. I appreciate your comments and any suggestions for a title.
